[DRAFT — pending legal review] This policy explains what information Spain Contractor collects about you when you visit this website, get in touch, or click through to WhatsApp, and what we do with it.

What you share with us directly

When you reach out via WhatsApp, our contact form, or the estimate tool, we collect the name, contact details and project information you choose to share. We use this only to respond to your enquiry and manage your project.

What we collect automatically

On every visit, and whenever you click a WhatsApp button, we automatically collect:

• Your IP address
• Your browser and device information (user-agent)
• Your device's language setting
• Your approximate country or region, derived from your IP address
• The page you visited, and campaign parameters showing where you came from (such as gclid, wbraid, gbraid, gad_campaignid, and utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content)
• How you interact with the site — which sections you view, how long you stay, how far you scroll, and which contact buttons you click

Why we collect it

We use this automatically-collected information to measure how well our advertising and marketing channels are working, to detect invalid clicks and prevent advertising fraud, and to improve the website.

Legal basis

For anything that is not strictly necessary to run this website — campaign attribution, analytics, advertising measurement and the record of your WhatsApp contact session — we rely on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR), which you give or refuse through the cookie banner. Before you decide, nothing in that category is stored on your device and nothing is recorded on our side; the one exception is that our analytics and advertising tags run in cookieless mode from the start, sending Google signals for the pages you view and how you interact with them — which sections you see, how far you scroll, which buttons you click — including your IP address, but setting no identifier and unable to recognise you across visits. See the cookie policy for the detail. You can change or withdraw your decision at any time from the banner. Withdrawing it deletes the campaign attribution held in your browser.

Record of your consent

So that we can demonstrate we obtained your consent, as Article 7(1) of the GDPR requires, we keep a record of each new decision you make on the banner — re-confirming a choice you have already made does not create another record. Each record holds: which categories you accepted or refused, when, the version of this policy in force at that moment, the page you were on, your language, your IP address, your browser information and your approximate country. This record exists precisely to prove your choice — including a refusal — so it is kept on the basis of our legal obligation and is not itself subject to consent.

How long we keep it

• WhatsApp contact sessions: 30 days
• Campaign attribution stored in your browser (cookie and local storage): up to 90 days
• Record of your consent decisions: kept for as long as it may be needed to evidence your choice, and not deleted on the schedules above

Who we share it with

We share this information with Google (Analytics and Ads, for measurement), use CookieYes as our consent management provider, and rely on Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider. We do not sell your data to anyone.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete and object to the processing of your information, to request its portability, and to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
